Physiotherapy Business Coach | Australia & NZ
◆ Business coaching for physiotherapy practice owners in Australia and New Zealand

A physiotherapy business coach who reads your numbers

Every physio booked out. Every room in use. And the owner is the last person paid. I work one on one with physiotherapy practice owners across Australia and New Zealand, and we start with the four numbers that decide whether a physio practice pays you: revenue per physio hour, utilisation, attendance to plan, and what each room costs you to keep open.

Who this covers

Physio practices of every shape

Solo owner-operator, a two-room practice with a couple of contractors, or a multi-site team. The detail changes, the business problem does not: a full diary, flat fees, rising wages and no clear view of where the money actually comes from.

Sound familiar?

Booked out, and still underpaid

Award wages and super went up again. Your standard consult fee did not. The difference comes straight out of your margin.
You cannot see which physios, rooms or consult types make money, so every growth decision is a guess.
Clients drop off at session three of a six-session plan, and the gap between what you planned and what they attended is costing you thousands a month.

Your diary is a profit document. Let's read it that way.

What we fix together

A practice that pays its owner

Revenue per physio hour you can actually see
Initial versus standard consults, 30 versus 40 minute slots, rebate-capped versus private. You will know exactly which hours make money and which quietly lose it.
Fees set with confidence
A fee structure that respects private health, care plan, WorkCover and NDIS schedules where they apply, and still leaves a real margin on every consult, with the maths to back every change.
Attendance to plan, not just rebooking
How many sessions clients actually complete against the plan you set, and what closing that gap is worth. Usually more than any marketing campaign.
Hiring on data, not hope
Whether you can afford your next physio, what they need to bill to pay for themselves, and how long it realistically takes a new graduate to get there.
Rooms that earn their rent
What each room costs per available hour, how many of those hours are billed, and whether extending hours, adding a room or adding a practitioner is the better next move.

Common questions

Physiotherapy business coaching, answered

What does a physiotherapy business coach actually do?

The useful version starts with your numbers, not a vision board. Revenue per physio hour, utilisation of each practitioner and each room, how many sessions clients actually attend against the plan you set, and what the practice pays you after wages, super and rent. From there we work on fees, marketing, hiring and how you lead, and every decision gets made on data rather than on how busy the week felt.

My physios are fully booked. Why is there no money left?

Because a full book measures demand, not margin. A full diary at a fee that has not moved in two years, with wages and super that have, is a practice working hard to stand still. Add a few no-shows a day and a room that sits empty on Tuesday afternoons, and the margin is gone before it reaches you. The fix is rarely more clients. It is usually fees, utilisation and attendance, in that order.

Do you understand private health rebates, Medicare care plans and WorkCover?

Yes, and they shape the work. Rebates and schedules cap what some clients will pay, which is exactly why the rest of your fee structure needs to be set deliberately rather than copied from the practice down the road. We look at your mix of private, care plan, compensable and NDIS clients and price so the practice still makes a margin on each of them.

Is coaching worth it for a small physio practice?

Only if it finds more than it costs. In a practice with two or three physios, one underpriced consult type, one under-used room or one hire made before the numbers supported it can cost more in a year than coaching does. Ask any coach how their work pays for itself in a practice like yours. If they cannot walk you through that, keep looking.

Do you offer group coaching or one on one?

One on one only. Group programs suit owners who want motivation and peers. Private coaching is the better fit when the problem is specific to your numbers, when you need to talk openly about your practice, or when you have already done a group program and nothing changed.
